Well, hello everyone! Let me introduce ourselves - We are the Davis' (Matt and Brandy Davis, to be exact.). Matt and I have been married for 3 crazy, but wonderful, years...ahh, how time flies. Brandy is a member of the Lipan Apache band of Texas and enjoys painting, going to powwows, reading books from her favorite author - Robert Fulghum, and occasionally cooking on her spare time, while Matt prefers to come home and relax to the soothing sounds of his clicking mouse while he fights the "MOBS" on his current computer game - "Goonzu." He has also taken upon himself the new role of "The Handyman" in our home; He has been going on a spree of fixing and installing things whenever he gets a chance. We both enjoy being active members of the LDS church, or to be more specific, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (yes, that is the Mormon church, for those that are wondering). We also enjoy doing projects to remodel our home, hanging out with friends and family, going on walks and watching movies together, and going out to eat...preferably at Cool Hand Lukes! Cold Stone Creamery anyone? YUM!
So up until recently, it had been just the two of us and our dog Bean. But we are proud to announce that after 9 long months, we had a wonderful 'new addition' on January 20th, 2009 - Aaron Michael Davis. He is 2 months and 10 days old already. It has been such a blessing to have him in our lives. Yep - there have been many sleepless nights since he has been born, but seeing him smile makes it all worth it. We wouldn't ever change a thing.
Anyway, we hope you'll get to know us even more throughout the weeks as we post more blogs. It'll be one heck of a ride... =)
